Where's The Promised Road
|
This is the road that the City of Independence council
voted to take by eminent domain in 2003 and was promised
by Kidwell who the city took the Scott, Hewitt & Mize
property for that he would complete the new road by the
end of 2005. As you can see in these pictures that this
road will not be done anytime soon. Now the city has given
Kidwell until 2009 to complete the new road. Now I ask you
was this a reason to take our property by eminent domain
when the city is giving the developer Kidwell until 2009
an extra 4 years to complete his promised obligation. THIS
IS PURELY EMINENT DOMAIN ABUSE IN THE PUREST FORM.

have done June 1st, 2006 per his contract he has
with the City of Independence.
In the mean time
Kidwell construction crew has constantly trespassed
on the Scott, Hewitt & Mize property to try to
complete the Kidwell Road. The City of Independence
seems to not care that Kidwell has broke his
contract with the city for the second time in six
months even after Tom Scott notified the city
council of this at the June 6th council meeting.
Independence officials cater to all developers and
puts there own citizens last. |
